I was raised on a farm in northern West Virginia. My father was a coal miner and labor leader, and my mother managed our home and raised our family. I grew up with strong values rooted in hard work, honesty, and the American Dream. I attended school in Cameron, WV, went on to college in Wheeling, WV, and earned my real estate license in 1982 through the West Virginia Real Estate Commission.

In 1991, I moved to Southern West Virginia, where I raised my family and lived on a farm in Grassy Meadows, WV. All that being said—I’m definitely from the country, and I understand rural properties, land, and lifestyle firsthand.
